Biological Terrain Assessment (BTA)
Biological Terrain Assessment (BTA) can help to naturally combat illness and disease through the use of monitoring values of pH, oxidation-reduction or redox, and resistivity of the bodily fluids. Changes can then be made at the biochemical level with the use of supplements.
Testing
- The patient is required to undergo a 12-14 hour fast
- Avoid toothpaste, mouthwash, or lipstick that can change the chemistry of the mouth during the fast
- Obtain and bring into the office the first morning urine and saliva
The samples are then used to determine the pH, resistivity, and redox values of each of the fluids.
